The road to Pamporovo
A little over three hours. The first half is motorway; after that the road enters the Rhodope mountains and starts to climb — hairpins, forest, and one village after another. It is a beautiful drive, and it is the most mountainous route we run.
In winter that final section is the reason we use our own drivers, who know the road. Heavy snow can make the journey considerably longer; we watch the forecast and leave earlier when we need to.
We stop whenever you ask. On this route most people stop at least once.
Ski equipment and child seats
There is room for skis and snowboards — tick it in the form so we prepare the right vehicle, and any charge shows in the price before you send the request. Child seats for every age.
When to book
Because of the distance, this one is worth requesting several days ahead, particularly for a night arrival. We confirm by phone or email within the hour.
About Pamporovo
Pamporovo lies in the Rhodopes at around 1,650 metres, which makes it one of the highest resorts we serve, and the runs under Snezhanka are known for being sunny and wide — it is a good place to learn. Smolyan, if you want a town, is fifteen minutes away.
