The road to Nessebar
Close to four hundred kilometres, around four hours and twenty-five minutes. Motorway to Burgas, then north along the coast. Nessebar comes just before Sunny Beach, so the final stretch is a little shorter.
If your hotel is in the old town on the peninsula, say so in the request. The streets there are narrow and cobbled, and it matters that the driver knows which way in and where he is allowed to stop.

Burgas airport is about half an hour from Nessebar, so in summer flying there directly is the shorter option by some hours. From Sofia this transfer is for travellers whose flight lands in Sofia, for out-of-season trips, or for a group that would rather travel together and arrive at the door.
Luggage and child seats
Room for a full van of suitcases, and child seats for every age.
About Nessebar
Old Nessebar stands on a rocky peninsula joined to the shore by a narrow isthmus, and it is on the UNESCO world heritage list for its medieval churches. The new part across the isthmus is an ordinary seaside resort. The two are fifteen minutes’ walk apart and do quite different jobs.
