The road to Sunny Beach
Four hundred kilometres, about four and a half hours. Motorway as far as Burgas, then thirty kilometres north on the coast road. That last stretch is short but can be slow in August, when traffic towards the resorts thickens in the afternoon.
We drop you at your hotel door. Sunny Beach is long and the complexes are not numbered in any obvious way, so put the exact hotel name in the request.

Burgas airport is forty minutes from Sunny Beach and takes summer flights from across Europe. If your tickets are not bought yet, that is the shorter and usually cheaper way in. From Sofia this transfer is for people whose flight lands in Sofia, for travel outside the season, or for a group large enough that one vehicle costs less than four seats on a plane.
Luggage and child seats
Room for a full van of suitcases. Child seats for every age — say how many you need and the form shows how many are included.
About Sunny Beach
Sunny Beach is the largest resort on the Bulgarian coast: several kilometres of sand shelving gently into the sea, which is what makes it work for families with small children. It is also the loudest stretch of the coast. Old Nessebar is a couple of stops away at the southern end if you want a quieter evening.
